Dan Savage hosted a dinner at his house with Brian Brown (from the National Organization for Marriage) and they discussed their opposing views on same-sex marriage.

An actual discussion!!!! Important stuff.

Interesting! Also deeply unsatisfying in that the entire argument against marriage equality, presented over more than an hour by its chief spokesperson, is: SAME-SEX COUPLES CAN’T GET MARRIED BECAUSE THEY CAN’T GET MARRIED. 

Behold! The ludicrous banality of bigotry!
